The EMDR method

What is EMDR?

What is EMDR?

EMDR is a highly effective, revolutionary, and internationally recognised psychotherapeutic method that triggers the patient's self-healing. EMDR therapy uses bilateral stimulation, right/left eye movement, or tactile and auditory stimulation, which, by means of repetition, prompts communication between the two sides of the brain, releasing emotional experiences “trapped” in the nervous system, processing them and releasing blockages, and helping the neurophysiological system reconnect with the mind and the body.
