What exactly is first aid?
In collaboration with the Ljubljana Emergency First Aid Infirmary, a Red Cross license holder, at our centre, we conduct first-aid training. Under the mentorship of a certified physician, the lectures are presented by a professional paramedic, master of nursing, licensed first aid instructor with an abundance of work experience, and military unit chief medical officer, Zlatko Kvržić.
What exactly is first aid?
The courses are carried out in line with the latest first-aid guidelines outlined at global congresses, which the lecturer attends regularly.
Article 33 of the Health and Safety at Work Act (ZVZD-1) requires the occupational health, traffic, and sports medicine provider to partake in the preparation of the employer's first-aid plan and furthermore, to participate in the training of workers as well as employers in connection to general and specific first-aid measures.
The Rules on the organisation, materials and first-aid kit at a workplace, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 136/2006, defines and lays down the employer's measures for the provisioning of first-aid at the workplace.
